  • Designed and deployed Cerner in multiple sites within NHS and Middle East.  Cerner modules that we have implemented include PM Office, Powerchart, First Net, SurgiNet, Clinical Documentation (Powerforms, Powernotes, iView,) Order comms and results viewing, mPages, Powerinsight and PIEDW.

 

  • Program management leading integration across 15 work streams with over 150 associates across them in the design of Cerner Clinicals for the UK market

 

  • Clinical Engagement and Clinical transformation for the Cerner Program at Barts and royal London and Royal Free NHS. 

 

 

 

 

Examples of improvements delivered through Cerner projects

 

Developed over 60 different order sets working with clinical services to standardise and improve use of investigative services. E.g. of cost improvement through order sets in renal dialysis (£32000/year saved)

 

Customised and integrated BMJ evidence care-plans in Upper GI bleed- prevented admission in A&E in nearly 65% of patients, reduced use of expensive sclerotherapy injections- Cost savings over £150K/year

 

Innovative use of Cerner Alerts and Flags functionality to achieve CQUINN compliance for Acute Oncology alerts, Child at Risk alerts, Learning disability management- Saved trust from procuring third party solution costing over £60K

 

Integrated Cerner workflows with Trust EPR and discharge process- complied with 24 hours electronic discharge summary delivery to GPs

 

Use of Cerner Powerchart functionality to comply with and support the Smoking Cessation workstream- Achieved local CQUINN target (£150000) which the trust was at risk of losing

 

Innovative use of Cerner favourite folders and clinical terminology to support the Project Diamond in London to improve Coding accuracy

 

Paperless process for Endoscopy services and Stop Pre-assessment clinic- £16K/year savings in paper and print costs
