On the Cerner Deployment in a large teaching hospital in Abu Dhabi

 

 As you know we delivered our Cerner implementation readiness report to HA-AD today and they were very pleased with our work.

 

 I know the circumstances could not have been much worse with all the sensitive relationships you are dealing with, but your actions and behaviours throughout truly reflected our Values and Principles and created trust from all parties.  You have individually and collectively gained the support from all the stakeholders to support an expanded role for us in the project.

Dr Charles Bruce (Director for Clinical Service Improvement) made special mention that the RFH Clinical Evening Session went well and highlighted how impressed he was with the presenting and the style adopted....and felt it was a success

 

 

On Clinical Engagement at the Royal Free Hospitals, NHS

Some really good feedback has been given from both Hammersmith and The Royal free, which I thought I should pass on.  I agree any lessons learnt from your work at the Royal Free should be shared and would suggest you might wish to present back at the next transformation meeting.  Where the implementation guides will also be presented along with the new clinical approach.

 

On the Clinical transformation work at Tawam Hospitals, Abu Dhabi

 

Dr. Shivam did a great job in helping us organize Physician Governance structure (Clinical Reference Group), Day in the life scenarios for physicians and surgeons and review of work flows in various departments inlcuding setting up inbox preferences, etc. Unfortunately, Perot System was involved very late in the project and most of the design and build decisions had already been made. So there was not much room to make any major changes but only to figure out what would be the best way to utilize the existing system.
